Mister Donut

I tried my very best to avoid Mister Donut, my favorite craving for the month, since I gained weight in a span of 3 weeks by eating 2 Choco Glaze doughnuts everyday!

On our way home, you see, I craved for a pork dumpling and before I knew it, beside the dumpling stall is Mister Donut. Guess what? Not only that I bought dumpling but also a half dozen of doughnuts!

Change is Constant

Change is the only thing that is constant.

I have mixed emotions as I was told by my boss about my new assignment. It's quite new for me because I have been handling big teams for the past seven years and it surprised me that in one instant, a different task will be given to me. I'm used to the campaign rotations but this time around I will no longer handle any people under me.

I'm left with no other choice but to turn this opportunity to a positive one.

Philippine Government Corruption

Do you know the reason why other countries prosper and Philippines do not? This is due to the fact that there are increased issues on government corruptions.

What can the citizens do? Those people inside the government (hopefully not all) are the ones who are taking the taxes of the citizens. These poor people work so hard just to feed their families and they have to pay for their taxes, without knowing where their taxes will go.

The country, is in fact, rich and beautiful, but those wonderful resources are not been given value. Some, I may say, corrupt government people took these money taxes for themselves, how selfish, right? They could have used these money taxes for something better such as for the use of education, housing, food, medicine, hospitals, transportation, and employment for the people, or maybe something to improve the country. 

Hopefully, there are still people within the government who are trustworthy. These citizens have the right to know where their taxes are going.

World War Z

I watched the movie World War Z last night starring Brad Pitt as Gerry Lane, a United Nation employee who is assigned to travel back the world that is rapidly being conquered by zombies. The movie depicts an effective action thriller with all the suspense in struggling and intense in fighting against zombies. Pitt has shown again an astounding performance in this movie. 

50 Shades of Grey Main Casts

An exciting news has been released today as the main casts of the 50 Shades of Grey were finally revealed. The novel was written by EL James, British author, which became a best seller due to the fact that the readers were engrossed to the love story of Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele. The author has also depicted a different kind of romantic story between the two main characters and highlighted a lot of erotic scenes which some of the readers (not me) have been hooked up to. Lol.
The main casts, Anastasia Steele will be played by Dakota Johnson and Christian Grey will be played by Charlie Hunman. The chosen actors are quite suitable for the characters, as far as my thoughts have wandered at the time I was reading the book. In addition to that, the actors' physical features somehow convey the characters' description in the story. Hopefully, they would able to portray what the readers have visualized in the story. Readers may have big expectations to the script and to the casts because the imagination are greater than expected. Moreover, the movie will run an hour or two in the big screen but the story must be able to show all the highlights so as the spectators will not be disappointed.
The movie is set to release on August 2014 and hopefully it will be as exciting as the story in the book.
