Guard Your Mouth

Think before you speak. You are liable on anything that comes out of your mouth. 

Many times we are quick to react on things, we are full of emotions that we don’t realize that what we do is not good for the Lord neither to other people.

A lot of times we are impulsive especially when we speak with hatred in our hearts. Be mindful of what you say because everything you say, you are accountable for it.

We meant it or not, sometimes we hurt people and we hurt God.

Therefore, before you utter words, think and understand first the situation.

Nothing is Impossible

Have you heard of the song - Nothing is Impossible by Planetshakers?

It's a nice song about how good our God is and how faithful He is to us.

Nothing is impossible with God. If you have faith in Him, even mountains can be moved. Faith in Him alone will save us. That is the purpose of our lives.

Have you ever questioned God? On what he is currently doing to us and what he has done for us? The fact is, he definitely has good plans for us. Some people might think that problems haunt us to punish us. But no, it would lead us to something good in the future. It is probably teaching us how to make us stronger and wiser. The very important thing is, we have to learn on how to lean on Jesus – EVERYTIME.

How to win a battle?

In this life, we encounter so many trials. Life won’t be life without it. How many of you did not encounter a single problem in this life?

Every single day is a challenge for us, temptations come in and the question is how did we handle each of that? 

Did you take it on a positive or negative way?

The question is: Is your faith enough? 

With a simple faith from the Lord, it is enough for us to say we have finished our goal in life.

Accepting Jesus Christ in our life will lead us to Eternal Life.

Trials come because God wants to put our 100% faith on Him and not to lean on our own understanding. He wants us to understand that these trials are His and not yours.

He doesn't want us to be alone on this so He wants to put our trust on Him. At times, we struggle and we put our strength on how we can solve it. But that is not what God wants us to act, He wants us to fully trust Him and let Him do the works.

That is why impossible things become possible because God works miraculously.

We are soldiers of His battle. Not ours, but His. We do not lead but He leads the battle of this war.

So, is your faith in the Lord enough? The answer is YES. Actions come after your Faith.

God's Presence in Our Lives

At all times, we need the presence of God in our lives. He gives us strength and courage to do our daily tasks.

At all times, we need His guidance so we may know what’s good and bad, what’s right and wrong. 

With His presence, we have to ask for understanding and wisdom as it lead us to the right path and right decisions.

Without His presence, we may stumble and may cause us pain and disappointment.

Matter of fact, without Him, we will fail.

To have understanding and wisdom is great, it will ease our hearts and not to be easily angered and lead us away from hurt, pain and disappointment. We will have better understanding on why things are happening like this and like that.

Psalm 22:19

19 But you, LORD, do not be far from me. You are my strength; come quickly to help me.

Living my life to the fullest?

How do you know you have lived your life the way you wanted to? And at its fullest?

Have you ever questioned yourself, what is my purpose in life?

You will probably never know the value of life unless you have come to experience a life and death situation, or losing someone you love, or probably become really sick.

I read the book "Veronika Decides to Die" by Paolo Coelho, it says a lot about valuing life. I love this author.

The main character was really eager to die with no particular reason. She probably just got tired of her boring life. Her attempted suicide lead her to a psychiatric place, so instead of dying, she was able to meet crazy people.

She learned that her failed suicide would lead her to a heart failure and she only has a week to live.

As days went by, little by little, she has come to realize she still wants to live. She met a guy, crazy guy, and in a few days she fell in love with him. Isn't that crazy? Probably. Because they are!

In the end, Veronika lived because the only remedy to her sickness is to have that will not to die.

Same thing happens, you will only realize the worth or value of something / someone, if it’s already gone or if you’re slowly losing it.

How important life is to everyone? For me, really important. Everyday is a new day and a new life.

My Love from the Star

I cried a bucket watching "My love from the star." It's a korean drama series.

It's not just a sad movie, but it has also shown a lot of how great love can do. It's about sacrifices for their loved ones and how to spend every precious time with the ones you love. In this world, you'll never know that they'll be gone any minute of your time. It's a very touching story.

How To Have A Healthy Marriage

Marriage is a promise and commitment of love betwen two people. It maybe a tough choice because it's a lifetime commitment, a promise that you will remain together and love each other until death. It's going to be tough but it will still depend on how you will handle it.

Here are some tips / guide on how to have a healthy marriage: 
 1. Make God the center of your lives. No matter how difficult your life will be as long as God is in the center of your lives, He will guide you to righteousness. Pray. Always pray.

 2. Communication. Always have an open communication with your husband / wife. Tell everything to your partner, as long as you don't keep anything from each other there will be no guilt feelings. Honesty will always make yourself relationship healthy.

3. Listen to each other. When you already have an open communication, you have to learn to listen. Sometimes your partner needs someone who can they open up to. An ear. A shock absorber. You don't have to give your comments all the time. Sometimes by just listening, it eases the pain and gives comfort.

 4. Teamwork. Now that you're married, you are considered as one. Husband and wife will work good together as a team. Two is better than one. Help each other.

 5. Be faithful to each other. This is a promise.

 6. Value each other's opinion. Eveyone is entitled for this. Once you hear her / him out. Be mindful of their opinion. You don't have to agree all the time but at least you know and you value each other's opinion.

 7. Value the needs of both parties. Know each other's needs. It may be physical, material, etc. Ask your husband or wife on what they want. It will always be great if you please one another. Or probably, at some point you know how you can reach her / his heart the fastest.

 8. Be kind with your words. Respect each other. 

9. Forgive not once but always. Pray for one another. You can't repeat the same mistakes over and over. Remember, if you make the same mistake, you hurt him / her. So, value one another. Make your mistake a lesson so you will not do it all over again.

 10. Trust each other.

 11. Always remember why you married him / her. How you fell in love with him / her. Treasure all good memories and forget all bad memories. Love him / her with all your heart and embrace all his / her flaws.

 Quoting this from the Bible will guide you along your married life. Always remind each other of these words:

It's very nice to wake up every morning seeing all the wonderful creations of God.

Second Chance

This is the continuation of the love story of two characters: Basha and Popoy.

The story depicts what every married couple encounters during their most difficult times. It's very moving yet With a little touch of comedy.

Married couples can very much relate with the story, from the early stage of marriage down to the most challenging stage of their lives. What catches me the most is that the promise you give that you will never leave each other even in your most difficult times.

Zambales Trip

I just had a trip in Iba, Zambales with my husband's family. It was planned but we never expected that we would bring our own car since his family already brought two cars and have already planned to hitch with them. So there, we left Manila at around 12 noon and we arrived there at around 5:30pm. Quite a long travel but it's worth it if you really wanted to relax. But if you intend to relax, I suggest that you get a driver! We used the SCTEX and we paid an estimate of 500 pesos one way for all the toll fees coming from Bicutan area. The good thing there was that we had a glimpse of the sunset when we arrived the beach. Though the sand is black, you will still be able to feel and enjoy the nature. You will love the sound of wind and splashing of water.

If I Stay

The two books of Gayle Forman, If I stay and Where She Went, have a unique concept. The first book, well, is incomplete so you really have to finish the second book. If I stay shows the value of life and family. It's really heart breaking when Mia learned that all member of her family died in the accident. She has to make a choice with the consequence that she will live alone and only his boyfriend will be there for her.

Senseless Thought

It's been very confusing since the day I woke up in pain. I wanted to give them everything but circumstances is holding me back. I work hard but why am I being stopped with the things I want. Is this a punishment? Maybe yes. This is mine. How could they take it away from me even if I am the one who worked hard on this? ...

Xmen: Days of Future Past

I've watched the opening of Xmen: Days of Future Past last night in Resorts World. I'll rate the movie with 9 stars because it's just so awesome. Though, there's not much action scenes but the story they've created and the casts were so cool.

Insensitive

I never understand why some people only desires what they want for themselves. Selfish, I may say is the right word. I am quite hopeless to see the things I want

We had our Sales outing in Mt. Malarayat Golf and Country Club. Such a relaxing place. You will be pleased with the view and even the rooms are very comfy.

A lil Respect for Marriage

If you act like you're single and ready to mingle, how do you assess yourself as married person?

If there's respect in marriage, neither of you will do anything that can destroy your relationship.

Neither of you will do anything to hurt each other's feelings.

If you gaze on someone, would you not have other things on your mind? How does infidelity starts? Gazing on someone, right? Which leads you to lots of temptations. Because in the first place, one married person should only gaze on his/ her wife / husband only.

Stuck

I had a four day vacation, days which could have been stress reliever. I have planned to go out of town and breathe some fresh air. To get away with office stress, and more and more. Well it turned out I got stuck somewhere.
